Obituary for Linda Fern Harden
Linda Fern Harden, 71, of LaPlata, Missouri passed away on Thursday February 20,2020 at Northeast Regional in Kirksville, Missouri.
She was born September 16, 1948 to Troy and Syble Sexton in Brawley, CA who preceded her in death
Linda graduated from Cambridge High School in Cambridge, IL and went on to peruse a nursing degree. She works for 30 plus years as an LPN at Galesburg Cottage Hospital, Hillcrest Nursing Home and Hammond Henry Hospital before retiring.
After her retirement, she moved to La Plata, MO with her significant other Skip Scovil. Linda love doing yard work, planting flowers, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were her life and lit up her world. Linda also enjoyed going to thrift stores, long drives to look at scenery and family dinners. She was the most caring and outgoing person to everyone she met.
Linda is survived by her significant other, Skip Scovil; four children, Dave (Katie) Harden, Tony Harden, Jamie Fink, Jason (Christina) Harden; thirteen grandchildren, Vince, Tina, Dustin, Hunter, Levi, Gavin, Cameron, Austin, Annastin, Damen, Blake, Dominic and Jayden; three great grandchildren, Gage Kennedy and John; two sisters, Betty Seabloom and Sharon Jones ; one brother, Butch Sexton and numerous nieces and nephews .
Linda’s wishes were for cremation with A Simplified Funeral Solution in Green Castle, Missouri.
