Obituary for Jerry Leroy Ruggles
Jerry Leroy Ruggles, 75, of Greentop passed away on January 26, 2021 at the Schuyler County Nursing Home.
He was born July 8, 1945 in Worthington, MO. The son Evertt and Maude (Hurley) Ruggles.
Jerry is survived by his wife Edith (Casady) Ruggles of Novinger; his daughters, Crystal (Ruggles) and husband Clayton Robbins, Karen (Ruggles) and husband Tony Moore, Sharon (Ruggles) and Troy Clark of Milan, Jeff Baird, Kevin Baird, Michael Baird of Novinger, MO; his sisters, Daisy May (Sue) and husband Luther, Kathy Cassady of Kirksville, MO, Elise Kirkpatrick; his brothers, Gary (Sharon) Hurley of Collinsville, Rick (Lorraine) Hurley of Worthington, MO, Dwight (Joyce) Hurley of Novinger, MO; several neices and nephews; his grandchildren, Austin McDannald, Kasyn Ruggles, and several others; along with several great grandchildren.
Jerry is proceeded in death by his parents, Everett and Maude; his sisters, Lois, Dorothy, Rebecca, Ann, and Sarah; his brothers, Bill, Elmer, and Bob; and son, Billy Grossclose.
Jerry was full of energy, had an outgoing personality, and loved to talk on the CB early in the morning. He loved to go hunting and fishing; was a huge fan of the outdoors. Enjoyed mowing the lawn, along with everyone else's. Jerry worked at Magraw Edison and did contruction for ten years each.
The visitation will be at a later date.
