Jakob, known fondly as Jake, was a fun-loving, outgoing Christian who grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska. He grew up near the mountains, surrounded by a close-knit circle of friends and family. In 2006, he migrated down to his roots in Missouri where he made his home. Jakob had often spoke of his longing to visit his home town in Alaska.

Jakob loved to play the drums, all genres of music, and making people smile. Within minutes he would have a room full of strangers laughing. He had that kind of energy that made everyone feel like life is truly worth living.

Jake’s legacy includes his five children, who carry on his best attributes, as they continue to thrive and grow in wonderful homes.

Jakob will be missed dearly by all who knew him. We know everyone will always remember the beloved, kind, friend, cousin, nephew, grandson, brother, son and father Jakob was. We will always cherish you, Jake, and the sunlight of your soul lives forever in our hearts.
