Cheryl was born April 30, 1976 in Leon, Iowa. She spent her childhood growing up alongside her sister, Ellen and brother Vince. Cheryl and Ellen enjoyed competitively dancing and taking gymnastics together. She attended high school at Linn County R-1 where she enjoyed high school cheerleading and choir, graduating with the class of 1994.

From the beginning, Cheryl was creative and adventurous, living her life guided by her convictions and passions. In 2010 Cheryl followed her mother's footsteps, continued her education and received an LPN degree in 2011 at the Kirksville Area Technical Center. Cheryl was a driven and amazing nurse who had a true passion of caring selflessly for others. She was employed at the Schuyler County Nursing Home in Queen City, Missouri for many years and always enjoyed the geriatric side of nursing. Cheryl’s compassion, strength, creativity and heart of service made her a true asset and blessing to any life she touched. She always greeted those around her with a contagious smile and had a personality that shined making the day brighter for those around her.

Cheryl was free spirited, connected deeply and always pulled in the direction of her heart. As a mother, her free spirit was an example, teaching her children the importance of living life to the fullest and self-creativity while providing deeply enhanced opinions and colorful mindsets. They often enjoyed her love of cooking and have many memories at different theme parks like “Worlds of Fun”.
On July 29, 2012 she was united in marriage to Jeffrey Todd Conner. Her love of travel and need for adventure allowed them to share memories on many adventures and beaches. Cheryl’s love for the beach and clear blue ocean made Cozumel one of her favorite places to vacation along with its amazing snorkeling. Cheryl was a very giving wife who never expected anything in return.
