Obituary for Joshua Trent
Joshua Dean Trent, age 35, of Unionville, MO passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Putnam County Memorial Hospital in Unionville.
Joshua was born on March 14, 1986, in Corydon, Iowa the son of Brad and Sheri (Acheson) Trent. As a youth he was active in the Assembly of God Youth Praise Team and had a deep love for music. He was gifted with the talent to play any instrument that he picked up and especially the guitar. He was baptized in water this past fall and could be found reading his Bible and overheard praying often. Josh also enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, or playing with his dog Max whom he had an exceptional bond with. His greatest love however was the time spent with his family and especially with his 2 daughters whom he adored. Joshua worked for Missouri Heat Treat for several years and was currently employed at Kraft Foods in Kirksville, MO.
Joshua is survived by his wife Tara (Black) Trent and his daughters; Alice Rayne Trent and Ripley Elise Deani Trent of St. Peters, MO, his parents Brad and Sheri Trent of Unionville, MO, his brother Chet and Chelsie Trent and family of Brookfield, MO, and his sister Cassie and Fred Lavely and family of Green City, MO. His grandparents, Everett and Mary Lou Acheson of Allerton, Iowa and grandmother Dixie (Trent) Hill of Unionville, MO along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Garold Dean Trent, step-grandfather Bob Hill, and great-grandparents, Leland and Nadine McDonald and Glen and Thelma Trent.
He will be greatly missed and remembered forever. Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the memorial contributions can be given to Joshua’s children’s education fund and sent to Sheri Trent, 33504 US Hwy 136, Unionville, MO.
