Obituary for Audrey Maxine Huffman (Skillman)
Audrey Maxine (Skillman) Huffman passed away on January 1, 2021 at the Twin Pines Nursing Home in Kirksville, Missouri at the age of 89.
She was born May 28, 1931 to Enos and Merle (Glass) Skillman. In December of 1952, she married Ernest Huffman.
Audrey is survived by her son, Randy (Angela) Huffman of Galt; three sisters, Barbara Ann Carroll, Bonnie Weaver, and Linda Strabley; two brothers, Alan Skillman, Jerry Skillman; four grandchildren; Michelle Jarvis, Brandon Huffman, Brady Huffman and Jessica Parsons; four great grandchildren, Miranda Steele, Dylan Steele, Keiton Parsons and Maddox Parsons; one great-great grandchild, Cristiano Steele along with several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest; one son, Ronnie; three brothers, Jack, Billy and Robert; two sisters, Shirley, Marge; and a special nephew, Franklin Reneau.
Audrey lived most of her life around North Missouri. She was a devoted, wife, mother who enjoyed being a homemaker, the outdoors, dancing at the Kirksville VFW and piecing together jigsaw puzzles.
A service to honor and celebrate Audrey's life is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
