Obituary for Steven Alan Walker
Steven Alan Walker, 62, of Kirksville, Missouri passed away on Tuesday June 12, 2018 at the Macon Health Care Center in Macon, Missouri. Steven was born June 11, 1956 in Davenport, Iowa the son of Harley L. Walker and Winifred McHale.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bud Walker and one niece, Maria Murray.
Steven is survived by one son, Justin Walker; three sisters, Barb (Tom) Gary of Hurdland, Missouri, Pat walker of Rock Island, Illinois, Linda (Mike) Cameron of Kirksville, Missouri; sister in law, Lynn Walker of Edina, Missouri several nieces and nephew, Scott Walker, Eric Walker, Jessie Walker, Vanessa Walker, Emily Odgers, Bill Gray, Andy Gray, Greg Gray, Sarah Woods, Dave Cameron and Dale Cameron.
Steve grew up in Princeton, Iowa and moved to Brasher Missouri at the age of sixteen until enlisting in the US Army. He was stationed in Fort Carson Colorado and Germany. After his years of service, he was employed with River Rock Rides until his vision failed. Steve also lived in Hale Missouri before moving to Kirksville, Missouri. He enjoyed life and love telling stories, working on cars and fishing.
Steve’s wishes were for cremation and family service at the Keokuk National Cemetery at a later date.
