Obituary for Stanley Eugene "Bubba" Shaver
“Bub” Stanley Eugene Shaver, 67, of Kirksville, Mo passed away at the University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri on Tuesday December 5, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born June 27, 1950 the son of William and Doris (Bunch) Shaver. He is preceded in death by mother; twin sons, Rodney and Steven Shaver.
Bub is survived by his wife, Crystal Shaver; son, Scott Shaver of Ludlow, Missouri; two step-children, John (Sherri) Casady of Columbia, Missouri, Rokita Harris of Pierce City, Missouri; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his father, William Shaver of Kirksville, Missouri; three brothers, Paul Shaver of Kirksville, Missouri, Roger (Nancy) Shaver of La Plata, Missouri, Randy (Jeanne) Shaver of Brashear, Missouri; three-sisters, Mary Lene of Kirksville, Missouri, Carolyn (Lyle)Talbert of Novinger, Missouri,
Brenda (Jay) Schilling of Kirksville, Missouri; friend of 50 plus years, Dave Clark of Kirksville, Missouri along with numerous nieces,nephews, cousins and friends.
Bud spent most of his life in Adair county growing up with his six siblings. He especially enjoyed spoiling his youngest sister and takes full credit for economic sense. Bub was an ornery character who enjoyed life, loved gambling, playing bingo, fishing and mushroom hunting. He loved food was a master of the BBQ and food critic. Many hours of his life were spent with his good friend Dave or on the phone.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at the Ringo Point Cemetery in Adair County on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00am.
