Obituary for Mary L Gary (Baker)
Mary Gary, 94, of Kirksville Missouri, passed away at home on Sunday, July 16, 2017, surrounded by the warmth of family.
Mary was born June 8, 1923 the daughter of Emmitt Baker and Edith M. Boyer in Artesia California. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Evelyn Eugaro.
She is survived by her four children; Doris Hough of Anchorage Alaska, Lloyd Gary of Florence Arizona, Edith Gary of Kirksville, Missouri and Jack McNutt of Tucson Arizona, Eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Mary was a strong woman with lots of sass who loved the outdoors, fishing and her country. On February 2, 1944, Mary made the decision to join the United States Army Air Force, serving as a heavy equipment truck driver. Mary always said that was one of the greatest decisions she ever made in life, she was very proud to have served God and her country.
