Obituary for Judith Kay "Judy" Wilson

Judith Kay Wilson passed away on January 11, 2018 at the age of 79. Judy was born August 4, 1938 in Kirksville, MO the only child of Albeano Zucchi and Loretta Cassady. On January 7, 1955 she married the love of her life Christopher Columbus Wilson.

Judy grew up in Kirksville and was a drum majorette for Kirksville Highs school and taught baton twirling. Judy enjoyed her life, spent 20 years working at various positions within JC Penny’s department stores. She loved and adored her husband, following and supporting him in his career. They lived in several different places but especially enjoyed, their years in Lancaster, Missouri and Breckenridge, Colorado. While in Colorado Judy managed Wilson Properties and enjoyed hosting their many family and friends. In 1988 they returned home to Kirksville. Judy loved gardening and her birds.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Christopher Columbus Wilson. She is survived by her five children, Randall (Michelle) of Sydney Australia, Mike (Lorraine) of Kansas City, MO, Tammy (John) Browne of Bethlehem, PA, Scott (Terri) of Davenport, IA and Gregory of Kirksville, Mo, 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

A memorial service and family gathering is planned for a later date.
