Obituary for Helen Ruth Harper (Burnett)

Helen Ruth Harper, 76, passed away Sunday, June 4, 2017 at her home in Sheridan, Arkansas. She was born December 9, 1940, the daughter of James and Edith Burnett.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jessie Harper; brother, Jerry Burnett; grandson, Randall Jewett; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Burnett.

Helen is survived by her children, Debbie Greer and husband Terry of Arenzville, Illinois, Pam Perritt and husband Frank of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas, Randy Jewett and wife Karen of Sheridan, Arkansas, Cindy Biard and husband Brian of Melbourne, Arkansas, Debbie Graham and husband Rich of Sheridan, Arkansas, and Jamie Harper of Wichita, Kansas; 17 grandchildren, Amanda & Chad Noel, April & James Neal, J.T. Harp, Shawn Cox, Sheena Perritt, Shelli Payne, Meggan & Curtis Law, Erica & Kody Caraway, Dylan Biard, Brooke and Jason Hyslip, Monica Plummer, Nathan & Nikki Plummer, Justin & Courtney Plummer, Jasmine Graham, Janis Graham, Richie Trahan and Ayden Harper; and many great-grandchildren; one sister; Sue and Tommy Altman; one brother, Dwight and Carol Burnett; and must we not forget her dog Molly.

Helen enjoyed life and loved people. She was a great mother and grandmother who loved her family and the Arkansas Razorbacks! One of her favorite trips was to Fayetteville with her beloved Jess to take in a game. She also enjoyed many fishing trips with family and friends to Louisiana. When Helen was not traveling, you would most likely find her with her sister Sue.
