Eric Dwight Cornelison, Sr, 55 passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from cancer at the Marshall County Health Care Center in Britton South Dakota. He was born December 15, 1961 in Unionville, Missouri the son of Dwayne and Dorothy Elaine (Shroke) Cornelison. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Timothy Cornelison.

Eric is survived by his children, Eric Cornelison Jr., Justin (Ciara Clay) Cornelison, and Ashley (Damon) Downers, of Kirksville, Missouri; the mother of his children and friend, Carol Lea Cornelison; eleven grandchildren, Cherish, Aliza, Skylar, Da’montez, Eric III, Payten, Faith, Brianna, Joslynn, Makayla, Paige; two brothers, Alan Cornelison of Kirksville, Missouri and Eddy Cornelison of Minnesota; two sisters, Elaine Cornelison of Independence, Mo, Laura Cornelison of Waynesville, Mo, several nieces and nephews and cousins.

Eric enjoyed being with his friends and family, playing the guitar listening to music and working on cars. He loved joking around with his family and friends and tried to add a little fun to life.

A visitation with family is scheduled for Wednesday November 29, 2017 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at A Simplified Funeral Solution in Green Castle, Missouri.
