Obituary for Bryan Leon Clinkenbeard
Bryan Leon Clinkenbeard, 57 of Unionville, Missouri, formerly of Centerville, Iowa, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Mo. He was born on January 3, 1960 in Salina, Kansas, the son of Billie George Clinkenbeard and Jewel Dean (McLain) Clinkenbeard.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy Joe Clinkenbeard and Curtis Eugene Clinkenbeard; two sisters, Sheila Louise Thomas and Shelly Renee Clinkenbeard and brother in-law Ezra Arthur “Art” Hermon.
Bryan is survived by his brothers, Barry (Tonya) Clinkenbeard, and Bruce (Linda) Clinkenbeard; both of Cincinnati, sisters, Connie Hermon of Centerville, Iowa, Barbara “Barbie” Acrey/East (Edward), of Cedar Bluffs, Alabama, as well as a sister in-law, Sally Clinkenbeard of Centerville, Iowa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Bryan served in the Army National guard for six years and was proud to have served his country. He spent most of his adult life in Colorado working as a truck driver. He loved playing the lottery, was a wizard at word searches and puzzles and enjoyed spending time with his siblings and camping.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday December 9, 2017 at the Cincinnati Community Center. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, with the service at 12:00 PM and lunch to follow.
