Obituary for Billy Joe Snyder
Billy Joe Snyder passed away on January 15, 2018 at the University of Missouri in Columbia. Billy was born in Kirksville, Missouri on July 17, 1958 the son of Ira and Phyllis (Smith) Snyder.
Billy was a lifelong resident of Green Castle, he enjoyed the simple things in life and was a simple man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and hanging out with his friends and neighbors. He especially enjoyed tinkering and fixing lawn mowers with his good friend IRV Dolan.
Billy was preceded in death by his wife Judy Fitzpatrick Snyder; parents and one brother, Donnie Snyder.
He is survived by his son, Jason Snyder of Milan, Mo; one brother, Mike Snyder of Green Castle, Mo; three sisters, Donna Sizemore of Lancaster, Mo, Iris Susan Byers and Angela Snyder both of Udell IA.
A visitation with family and friends will be held Wednesday January 17, 2018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at A Simplified Funeral Solution in Green Castle, Missouri.
A Private burial will be held in the Green Castle Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the family and can be entrusted to A Simplified Funeral Solution to help with burial expenses.
