Allison “Brooke” Conner, 29, of Kirksville, Mo passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas Conner, grandmother, Betty June Conner, Uncle, Rex Conner, and a stillborn son, Joseph Ewart.

Brooke was born August 20, 1988 the daughter of Sandi (Risher) Conner of Kirksville, Mo; Clarence and April (Manus) Conner of Novinger, Mo, who survive.

She is also survived by her daughter, Nikki Rae Ewart; step-daughter, Paige Van Dusen; fiancé, Kirk Van Dusen; her sisters, Lindsey and Elizabeth Harrison of Columbia, Mo; brother, David Manus of Novinger, Mo; grandparents, Madeline Easley of Kirksville, Mo, Roy Risher and Mary Jo Paige of Greentop, MO; nieces, Faith Burkhardt of Columbia, Missouri and Amber Dierling of Kirksville, MO; nephews, Austin Burkhardt and Travis Burkhardt of Columbia, MO, Jaxson Gordy of Kirksville, MO and Chase Harrison, of Novinger, MO along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brooke attended school at Adair County R-1 in Novinger and Kirksville High School. Brooke was an amazing person that never hesitated to reach out and help those in need. She loved to cook and made sure no one ever left her house hungry. She treasured time spent with family and friends, especially if there was food and music involved. She overcame challenges in her short life that most of us can't even imagine, and she did it with grace and with a smile on her face. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, cousin and friend and will be dearly missed by all.

A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
